A new year...the first card I drew on New Year's eve was The Fool...an apt emblem for my life during this time of challenge.
This week's card is the Queen of Wands...again apt. (If you are interested I follow the definitions as put forward by the Rider Waite Tarot.) You see I am a Libra and the Queen of Wands represents Venus and balance...over the past few months, I have discovered that my balance is out of whack and I need to bring it back into equality...wonder what it will take and who will choose to come with me?
On a lighter note the boarders here at The Boarding House are doing well, although when Amber (the Irish Chihuahua) goes outside, she is enveloped in a drift of snow...she does like making snowballs though...as you have probably heard the Midwest is freezing I have dreams of sitting under a palm tree with a pitcher of margaritas and Jimmy Buffet playing in the background...a warm shower will have to do, actually - a cold shower - bring me back down to reality.
The Gaffer is also doing well - He has started his year off with Mediations and the KS Supreme Court...he loves retirement...busier than a flea on a dog's back.
